I'm old enough to remember the original TRON when it came out. The computer breakthrough was incredible. I watched some of the original TRON the other night in HD and found it very dated...characters running around with glowing frisbees, etc. That's no fault of there own, that's all they could do back then.
TRON:Legacy looks incredible! I can't wait to see it...make sure to watch the entire trialer as there a little scene at the end that makes the original action sequence with the bikes pale in comparison:
All I can say is that I cannot wait! This is one of my most antisipated movie sequels EVER! I just hope they stay true to the original and from the looks of this trailer.....it would seems like they are! I also just watched the original in HD and although dated compared to todays standards, TRON is still a great movie. Great story and great vision! Oh, I wish the new one was out already! :)
